Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc.

A national, non-denominational organization that supports parents who have lost a baby at any stage of their pregnancy or in early infancy in their healing through support groups, organizations, books and publications and sources for memorial items. Publishers of a bi-monthly newsletter, "Sharing" which provides information on nationwide and international parent support groups. Health care professionals, clergy, funeral directors, researchers and authors use Share as a primary source of information and knowledge.

SickKids Hospital: Paediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT)

The Paediatric Advanced Care Team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto is a team of health care professionals who work closely with community and hospital team partners facilitating comprehensive care planning for children throughout the continuum of the illness experience, including care within the home/community. Services available to families and health care teams are planned to include: inpatient, community and family consultation, collaborative community care, intensive symptom management, psychosocial and spiritual support, bereavement counselling and knowledge of financial support. A list of grief support centres and grief and bereavement resources is listed on the web site. For more information on PACT, email pact.info@sickkids.ca or call 416-813-6905.
